WORKSHOP LEADERS

Retired DPD Detective Amos Gantt retired from the Navy and joined the Dallas Police Department, where he worked in various capacities including the Crimes Against Children unit and patrolling the Westside of Dallas. Following his law enforcement career, Gantt transitioned to a role as Site Supervisor for The Hope Center. He continues to serve his community as a Licensed to Carry (LTC) Instructor, sharing his expertise in firearms safety and responsibility.

Retired Detective Robert Duncan is a seasoned law enforcement professional with 34 years of experience and leadership in complex investigations at the Garland Police Department. Duncan spent the latter part of his career as a Major Crimes/Homicide Detective, where he led investigations on numerous high-profile cases. His expertise spans a wide range of serious crimes, including capital murders, kidnappings, officer-involved shootings, robberies, and animal cruelty.
