Gather
Marriage is good, but unnecessary for you to find belonging and community as a follower of Jesus. God intended the body of Christ, His Church—comprised of singles, marrieds, young, and old— to experience the joy of belonging.
However, for decades the hyper focus on strengthening families diminished the voice and value of unmarried life. There is purpose for your life whether you are married or single. One status should not be idealized over the other.
We are creating space for you to gather and bear witness to the faithfulness of God. Consider new thoughts on identity, marriage, and romance, and celebrate how God is using you in your community and beyond.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near” (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Errors and misconceptions about singleness, marriage, and God’s ultimate design for humanity abound. In our romance-driven world, let no one take you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, or the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ (Colossians 2).
We are developing tools to help you read and interpret Scripture in light of its ancient context—essential to understanding your value, worth, and identity in Jesus, not your marital status.
Gaining a comprehensive knowledge of Scripture will broaden your spiritual perspective, allow new ideas to take hold, and deepen your love for God.
We are praying for you, “… asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light” (Colossians 1:9-12).

JOB SUMMARY
Are you a savvy storyteller and passionate about social media and digital marketing? We seek a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to manage our social media channels, create engaging content, and analyze metrics for our platforms.
You will play a vital role in launching our podcast, enhancing our online presence, and bringing awareness of the ministry to the world. Build your portfolio and develop your skills in social media management, content creation, and community building while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Responsibilities:

- Creating and scheduling content (including video) for our social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Monitoring social media channels for trends and engagement opportunities.
- Engaging with followers and responding to comments and messages.
- Assisting in developing social media campaigns and strategies.
- Analyzing data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with the founder to brainstorm new ideas and initiatives.
- Providing real-time coverage of Mission Single events to capture and create content.
- Assist with other duties as necessary.
Requirements:

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficient in video editing and graphic design, able to create visually compelling content while adhering to established brand guidelines and visual identity standards.
- Strong storytelling and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
